AI-assisted development is an advanced tool that helps write code. Running multiple agents with different skills and roles is using multiple tools in parallel. We are forced to run agents in parallel only because they are slower than we'd like them to be.

I can't think of a managing skill that maps well onto managing agents.

Agents don't argue with you. Agents don't evolve. Agents don't come up with controversial ideas. Agents don't have a personal individual view on a problem. It's just weights that help organize words in a certain order.
